About the Journal

Fresno Roofline Journal publishes plain-language guides on caring for roofs, gutters, fascia, soffits and the rest of a home's exterior, written for the climate of Fresno and the wider Central Valley.

What we cover

Roof aging in heat and sun, getting ready for the rainy season, gutter and drainage care, roofline repairs and the places where animals get into homes. We focus on what a homeowner can check, understand and ask about, not on selling a service.

Who we are

The Journal is written and edited by a small editorial desk. We are not a roofing contractor, we do not perform work on homes, and we do not hold or display any contractor license. Guides are based on published guidance from public agencies, universities and industry bodies, which we cite on every page.
